It all started with my craze for harry potter. When i was 11, i discovered a fanfiction site, HPFF. I made my own account, wrote some fanfiction, read some, and made some friends. Then one day i noticed a friend of mine had a website of her own, until then i was unaware of existence of personal websites, i thought only companies and business people have it >_< And so i checked it out. It was hosted with Freewebs, which offered free hosting, and so i had my first site.
After sometime i moved on to another free hosting site. In about 2years i learnt how to make layouts, by checking out tutorials and stuff and tweaking codes and seeing how they affect the outcome. I moved on to subdomain hosting soon afterwards. Then in some more months i pursuaded dad to buy me my own domain, which i had for a year but then i had to go back to subdomain hosting.
